"I worked with Nina off and on for several years while searching for a home. As a first-time home buyer, I had certain financial and material constraints, but also had a clear vision of the type of lifestyle I wanted for myself and for my family. This made me very particular about the location, the property, and the house itself. I had a long list of "red flags" and was intent on finding a long-term home that would be both a sound investment and a good place to start a family. This made me perhaps not the easiest client to work with. Despite this Nina made a great effort to send me listings that seemed to fit my criteria, to set up showings, and to go the extra miles (literally) to accommodate my availability for tours in some pretty far flung locations. Nina's approach is very much to help potential buyers find not just a house but a home, and in our tours, she showed a talent for envisioning potential, while also knowing which figurative stones to turn over. She leveraged her contacts and experience to help me get questions answered and to coach me in making competitive offers, as well as when to walk away. When offer turned to negotiation, she followed through with this advocacy, allowing me to feel like we had made the best deal possible. Ultimately, our offer was accepted on a wonderful property that I hope to be my family's home for decades to come.
